Pastor Darnell Gray was born in Detroit, Michigan and reared in Springfield Massachusetts. On July 8th, 1984, he accepted Christ as Lord and Savior of his life. He attended North Carolina A&T State University and Greensboro College and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Executive Business Administration with a minor in Organizational Leadership and Management.
Pastor Gray started working in full time ministry in 2002 and served faithfully under the tutelage of Bishop George W. Brooks as a pastor and community leader since 1993. For 8 years he served on staff at Mount Zion Baptist Church Of Greensboro Inc. as the full time Pastor of College, Young Adult and Single Adult Ministries. He also served for six (6) years as the International Pastor/Director for College Students and Young Adults for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International body at large under the direction of Bishop Paul S. Morton and General Overseers Ilsa Evans and Christopher J. Harris; where he was responsible for over 1200 churches internationally.
Pastor Gray served as the Interim Pastor of Robert’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Goldston, NC from January 2013 until May 2015 where He saw God do some marvelous things. He is committed to seeing God Advance His Kingdom through submitting to the Holy Spirit and living a life of humility and service.
As Founder and Lead Pastor of Redeemed Church, Pastor Gray is delighted to lead a church committed to seeing the redemptive power of Christ shared globally through loving, living, and leading on purpose. He is an Author who, along with his wife, co-authored the eBook “The Art of Recovery” a Marriage Works Bestseller released in the fall of 2013. He is a National Motivational Speaker and uses every available opportunity to speak life, motivate and encourage all that he comes into contact with.
On July 20th, 2002, he married his lovely wife Jichelle C. Gray. They are the proud parents of three (3) miracle children, Miss Kiersten C. Gray, Master Karsten C. Gray and Miss Kristian C. Gray; and reside in Burlington, NC.
